On Thursday, September 7, Morristown Airport (KMMU) welcomed the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and its final Regional Forum of 2017. With the help of NBAA and Signature Flight Support Morristown, Morristown Airport welcomed over 2,000 attendees, 140 exhibitors and over 30 display aircraft.
NBAA’s Regional Forums bring current and prospective business aircraft owners, operators, manufacturers, customers and other industry professionals together for a one-day event at some of the best airports and FBOs in the nation.
Signature Flight Support Morristown was the host FBO for the event that incorporated exhibits, static display of aircraft and education sessions. The Regional Forums help introduce business aviation to local officials and showcase the positive economic impacts that business and general aviation have on a community.
This was the first time that Morristown Airport acted as the host airport for a Regional Forum hosted by NBAA. The event provided great exposure for the airport to business aviation professionals who operate in the New Jersey and New York areas.
Education sessions at the Regional Forum included an outlook for business aviation in 2017 and beyond and mentoring business aviation’s future workforce.
