Runway 5-23 Closure Updates
Overview
Phase XI of the Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project consists of runway paving totaling 2,500 feet from south of Taxiway Echo to north of Taxiway Foxtrot. Work involves milling, asphalt grade correction and base and top course asphalt layers. Similar work will take place on Runway 13-31 and Taxiways Echo, Bravo, and Foxtrot within the Runway 5-23 safety areas.
Phase XI is expected to have a timeframe similar to Phase IX in 2023, which saw culvert replacement work underneath Runway 5-23 and Taxiway Alpha.

Runway 5-23 closed for entirety of Phase XI (34 days)
Airport fully closed to fixed-wing. Traffic for six days during the Runway 5-23 and 13-31 intersection work.
